Security and comfort start on the drawing board

Security is built around the control unit. All alarm peripherals connect to it via the bus or a radio module: motion and magnetic detectors, glass breakage detectors, keypads and access readers. The same control unit also handles automation. The system is modular: the same principle works in a family home and in a building with dozens of sections, so the design can be extended without changing the concept. A backup battery and communication over GSM/LTE or an IP network keep the system running even during a power or internet outage.

A building can be divided into separate sections, each with permissions set for specific users, groups or time windows. Entry is via RFID tags, code keypads or outdoor access terminals. Permissions are granted and revoked remotely via the app. Short-term rental managers, for example, will appreciate this: guests get access for exactly the length of their stay, with nothing to arrange on site.

Camera footage is stored locally on an NVR or on an SD card directly in the camera, or in JABLOTRON Cloud. From there, it is available for remote event verification and for the Alarm Receiving Centre. In the app, all the cameras in a building are displayed in one clear grid: you can watch the live view and browse recordings by section or by a specific alarm event.

Heating and cooling in individual zones are controlled and scheduled from the same app as security and automation. The system uses information directly from the security system: when a magnetic contact reports an open window or door, the system automatically reduces heating in that zone. Once the building is armed, heating and cooling are turned down. Energy is saved without any user intervention.

Sensors continuously measure indoor CO2, temperature and humidity. Based on the set limits, the system automatically controls the ventilation unit and keeps the air parameters within the optimum range. With no manual intervention.

Blinds and roller shutters are controlled from the app or according to schedules. In the event of a fire alarm, the system automatically opens them throughout the building or in selected sections, making evacuation and the emergency services’ response easier.

Smoke detectors connect in the same way as other security devices. When smoke is detected, the system therefore does not just sound the siren, but also triggers follow-up actions in the building – it opens roller shutters and blinds, sends notifications to designated people, and so on.

CO detectors play a crucial role near solid-fuel stoves and gas appliances: they monitor the concentration of carbon monoxide, which is produced by incomplete combustion or an appliance fault. When the limit is exceeded, the system triggers an alarm just as it would for any other alarm event.

A flood detector combined with a motorised shut-off valve does not just report the problem, it responds immediately: when water is detected, the system automatically shuts off the supply. This limits the extent of the damage before anyone has to step in.

Garage doors and entrance gates are controlled via output modules connected to the drive, both locally and remotely from the app. An ideal solution for family homes and company sites alike. No separate, costly access control system is needed.

The ecosystem can be integrated with third-party camera systems, electronic locks, an attendance system and other building technologies – via the bus, standardised outputs or a cloud API. Instead of several parallel systems that do not communicate with each other, you get one connected solution.

A smart plug measures the current consumption of the connected appliance, stores its history and lets you switch the appliance on or off from the app (manually or according to a schedule). When leaving, the user can switch off selected appliances with a single command.
