The JABLOTRON Foundation
Protecting your home, supporting your community. From the very beginning in 1990, JABLOTRON has been actively involved in public benefit projects, particularly within the Liberec Region and beyond. Healthcare, education, environmental protection, and many other fields have advanced thanks to JABLOTRON’s commitment to returning a portion of its profits to society. Since 2016, these activities have been officially managed by the JABLOTRON Foundation.

About the Foundation
The JABLOTRON Foundation is the official charitable arm of the technology company JABLOTRON, overseeing all its philanthropic activities. While officially established in January 2016, it continues a legacy of more than twenty years of supporting various public benefit initiatives. Each year, the Foundation supports dozens of charitable projects.
Our Areas of Focus
What are the Foundation’s primary areas of interest? We support science, education, and the development of civil society in general. But it goes much further! Together with regional and national partners, non-profit organisations, and local communities, we focus on the following priorities:
Science and education
We encourage curiosity, entrepreneurship, and the improvement of technical skills. We provide financial support for STEM education projects and teacher training, and we assist young scientists.
- Reconstruction of the building for the Svobodná primary school in Jablonec nad Nisou.
- Support for the unique EDUzměna project – a model for regional school support.
- Robotics clubs at primary schools in Jablonec.
- Supporting young scientists through the Neuron Foundation.
- Support for the Elixír do škol project – didactic centres for active Physics and IT teachers.
Healthcare and elderly care
We improve healthcare conditions in the Liberec Region and help build vital infrastructure.
- Funding the construction of the Movela orthopaedic clinic in Liberec.
- Modernising medical equipment at the Jablonec nad Nisou hospital.
- Establishing the U Přehrady care home for seniors and supporting intergenerational projects.
Nature conservation
We take care of unique landscapes and local flora and fauna in the Jizera Mountains, while also supporting environmental education.
- Management and stewardship of 60 hectares of mountain meadows in Janov nad Nisou.
- Cooperation with providers of eco-educational programmes.
Civil society
We support active citizens, community initiatives, and non-profit organisations.
- Long-term support for Via Foundation programmes: A Place Where We Live (community development), Let’s Not Be Afraid of Local Politics (for active citizens), and Young Benefactors (teaching children and youth how to help in their communities).
- The launch of the My Foundation project (together with the Via Foundation), allowing JABLOTRON employees to decide on financial support for specific beneficial projects.
- Training local non-profit organisations in partnership with the OSF Foundation.
- Supporting anti-corruption and watchdog initiatives.
Preservation of cultural heritage
We participate in the restoration of local landmarks and historical sites.
- Restoration of the facade of the Pilgrimage Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary in Hejnice.
- Repair of the tower clock of the church in Jablonec.
- Rescue and restoration of the Bramberk lookout tower.
- Reconstruction of the historic Prezidentská chata (President's Hut) and maintaining its operation for the public.
Regional development
We support various social, cultural, and sporting programmes across our region.
- Supporting cultural and social life in Jablonec, including the municipal theatre.
- Sporting activities and physical movement for children.
- Cooperation with low-threshold centres for socially disadvantaged children.
- Maintenance of cross-country skiing tracks on the Jizerská Magistrála trails.
- Installation of lighting for pedestrian crossings.
- Donation of a new piano to the Jablonec Elementary School of Art.
- Donated alarm systems for non-profit organisations.
Emergency aid
We help people affected by natural disasters and those in difficult social situations.
- Support for Ukraine during the war.
- Assistance for Ukrainian refugees in the Czech Republic – housing and job seeking.
- Aid for people affected by the 2021 Moravian tornado.
- Response to the coronavirus crisis.
- Winter shelter for the homeless in Prague.
- Repeated assistance to communities after floods.
